Emily DeanCraniosacral Therapist

I completed 2 years of training in craniosacral therapy and fascial unwinding at the College of Craniosacral Therapy, qualifying in 2024.I came to this work following 20+ years of supporting people in NHS and social care settings, followed by a period of burnout and severe nervous system dysregulation. Craniosacral therapy has helped me to navigate this, and I love being able to offer this gentle but powerful therapy to others.Craniosacral therapy uses light touch and deep listening to allow the body to be heard, releasing physical and emotional tension. Fascial unwinding follows the same principles but supports the body to express patterns through movement. These therapies focus on supporting your body to tap into its inherent health and vitality, and therefore can be helpful in managing a wide range of physical or emotional symptoms, or simply for general wellbeing.Craniosacral therapy and fascial unwinding take place fully clothed and usually on a massage couch, although this can be adapted if necessary, for example for pregnant women.I work with adults of all ages, and with older children (approximately 8+ but please contact me to discuss if you have a younger child who you think would benefit). I have particular interests in supporting people with chronic health conditions as well as neurodivergent adults and young people.I practice in Sheffield S8. Sessions are an hour long and cost £50.I am registered with The Craniosacral Therapy Association (https://www.craniosacral.co.uk/practitioner-directory/) and fully insured for practice. For client reviews please see my Google business page:
